 There is no hiding the fact that I am the biggest Francophile at heart, so when I saw these delightful and whimsy prints, I knew right away I would have to snatch them up for my apartment! Now I just have to decide which one!

SCAD Fashion Show 2013

Every year, SCAD showcases several senior designers in a spring runway show that is highly competitive and attracts the eyes of many fashion industry celebrities. This year's show and weekend full of fashion industry panels made me truly proud of the hard work that goes into fashion and the amazing education I have received here in Savannah!

The weekend started with listening to insiders (such as BryanBoy, Andrew Bevan of Teen Vogue, Keith Pollack of DuJour, and many more) discuss how to make it in the industry and where the future of fashion is headed, and ended with special honorary Francisco Costa of Calvin Klein Collection and the runway show.

It was truly an inspiring weekend, and I was so proud to see the work of one of my best friends, Sarah Humphries come to life!

Intern 101

Now that May has arrived, I am anxiously counting down the days until Summer. Summer for most fashion students means interning, and i've decided to give you a few tips and tricks if this is your first summer internship! Last summer was my first time working in New York, and was a big eye-opener for many reasons. I have had a lot of questions from friends about what it was like, what to expect, and what not to do...so here it goes!
